Addiction is such a real issue in our community. It’s talked about frequently and celebrated in our culture. It’s sad. And truth be told most times when dealing with relationships whether family , friends or lovers, the realization of the addiction sometimes comes after you’ve established a deep connection and bond with the person. After this realization you may feel the need to stay and help them through the issues plaguing them to rely on this addiction. Most times it leads to heartache, mistrust and broken relationships.
